having the term sheet ahead of us. so this language is actually stronger in terms of actually saying explicitly that the board of supervisors will not take action on the term sheet or any other items that are listed here, until the cac holds meeting. so i just wanted to clarify from the city attorney's point of view, i know this is a resolution and so in many ways it's not necessarily a binding piece of legislation so technically the board could still act. however it does signal an intent so i wanted to ask office of economic and workforce development, in terms of the cac actually being able to schedule a meeting who actually controls making sure that we actually have timely meetings that are set up to review these items? i think it's important that the cac look at these items but if we were to have individuals who maybe didn't want to see it move forward if they chose not to have meetings would that then put the board in a bad situation where we would have passed a piece of legislation and said we will not take action

(applause) >> so, we're going to show another application from motion launch, the founder and ceo, john, will be sharing some of the work that they're doing. they're based here out of san francisco and they've got a great announcement to make. >> i am jon mills. i'm ceo of motion loft. we started about three years ago developing sensors that we could place around cities that would give us some analytics on how people move around cities and how vehicles drive around cities. so, currently we have 16 neighborhoods -- 18 neighborhoods covered in san francisco, and we get real-time data back that shows exactly how many people go by some of the busiest areas in san francisco. so, you can see here san francisco, on average total, i think we had 150 people cross our sensors on average for every sensor

[ applause ] this project is the 24th library that our agency has been involved in. we have renovated 16 libraries, and we have built 6 new ones. the 23rd is in the bayview in my neighborhood and that will be ready for groundbreaking in january and for completion and opening in january and now we're groundbreaking on this project. as part of this project, you will be getting a two-story library. it will be designed for led silver or greater and sustainable and as opposed to the old library it will be ready for the big one, seismically fit. something mayor lee has put forth in his leadership as mayor is that it will bring a lot of jobs and this library will be the first library to undergo the new local hiring law, meaning that 25% of san franciscans will be working on this project. big hand for mayor lee and the board of supervisors for their leadership u.
